The Jardín del Turia
The Jardín del Turia is a park in the city of Valencia that winds through the center of the city over a length of 9 kilometers. It is the most visited and largest park in Spain. We at Route 66 Idiomas spend a lot of time here too!
It serves as a meeting and recreation spot and is frequently used by joggers, cyclists and walkers. The park has many public gardens, sports venues, including football and tennis, fountains, a botanical garden, play areas for children, a funfair and various cultural institutions, both along the ‘banks’ and in the park itself. Particularly remarkable are the Museum of Fine Arts, the Royal Gardens, Parc Gulliver, the Palau de la Música de Valencia ‘and the modern City of Arts and Sciences, la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias.
