It is a festival that takes place throughout Spain and originated in Zaragoza.
But it is also celebrated in Valencia.
All towns of the province carry out religious acts, among which flower offerings to the Virgin Pilar are prominent, as well as food festivals, competitions and many other events taking place.
The festivities end in a ´jotera´ gala (related to the Spanish dance style ´jota´).
